The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on break in E-facing slope; triangular graveyard (c. 60m N-S; c. 50m E-W), apex of triangle to S, enclosed by stone wall and bounded to E by road. Some uninscribed grave markers but most burials marked by 19th-century inscribed headstones; still in use. No visible remains of Kilcorney parish church except one block of limestone (0.7m x 0.5m x 0.2m) (CO039-035003-) which formed head of double ogee-headed window light, late-medieval in date; now re-used as gravemarker. Immediately across road to E is arc of bank which may be remains of early ecclesiastical enclosure (9203).

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
