The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on N-facing slope. Circular area (30m E-W) enclosed by two earthen banks with intervening fosse; shallow external fosse noted to E, SE and S. Inner bank (max. int. H 1.3m) survives best to E; low internal bank height NW->NNE; entrance (Wth 3.2m) to ENE. Partially stone-lined sub-circular recess (diam. 2.4m; H 0.8m) in bank to N, opening into fosse, may be remains of limekiln. Outer bank (H 1.6m) incorporated into field fence system WNW->NNE; gaps to WNW and NNE; gap (Wth 1.8m) corresponding with break in inner bank, to ENE. Interior overgrown; raised on N side to compensate for hillslope.
