The National Monuments Service's description
In ringfort (8473). Broker (1937, 49) noted a 'passage going towards John P. Hickie's, 3 feet square boarded all round with black bog oak. Boards were 3 inches by 6 inches and were 6 feet long. Destroyed by turf cutting in 1895'. No visible surface trace. McCarthy (1977, 369) included this in his list of souterrains but added that it may also refer to 'a water mill or a fulacht fia'.
