The National Monuments Service's description
Broker (1937, 14) recorded a fulacht fiadh on Denis Noonan's land 'in Bearna an tSasanaigh; 15 feet diameter: tilled: now flush with ground'. Exact location not known. One of three other fulachta fiadh on same farm (see CO038-092---; CO038-097---).
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
