The National Monuments Service's description

Broker (1937, 14) recorded a fulacht fiadh on Denis Noonan's land 'in bog, 13 feet or sods down. 20 feet diameter: dug out, not removed: 2 feet high, depth unknown. Equally deep and beside it was space 14 x 14 feet planked. Real planks split or dressed with hatchet: like bog deal: destroyed about 1897. In 1892, beside planking but not so deep was found, scooped tree....nice little trough - 9 inches deep'. Exact location not known. One of three fulachta fiadh on same farm (see CO038-092---; CO038-127---).
