The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on SE-facing slope, 70m to E of ringfort (8558). Circular area (30.5m N-S; 30.5m E-W) enclosed by substantial earthen bank (int. H 2m), planted with mature deciduous trees; second bank (H 0.45m) with intervening fosse (D 0.5m) survives ESE->W. At inner bank face of second bank to SW is exit of possible stone-lined field drain (0.45m square; D 0.5m).
