In tillage, on crest of ridge. Circular area (diam. c. 40m) defined by earthen bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.6m) SSE->NNW; scarp (H 1.1m) NNW->NE; E side truncated by N-S field boundary (1905 and 1935 OS 6-inch maps), now levelled. Interior slopes down gently to N; raised on N side to compensate for hillslope.
