The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on N-facing slope, straddling natural gully. Depicted as hachured oval enclosure (c. 80m E-W; c. 60m N-S) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; arc survives SE->SW in field boundary system on 1905 and 1935 OS 6-inch maps; hachured on 1935 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; oval area (82m E-W; 60m N-S) defined by low rise W->E, with barely perceptible trace of external fosse. Site bisected by N-S field boundary (townland boundary) and by N-flowing stream. According to local information, S arc of site consisted of a line of blackthorn bushes; removed during field fence clearance c. 1976.
