The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, atop W-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map; N half not shown on 1905 OS 6-inch map but hachured as scarp on 1935 OS 6-inch map; S half hachured as surviving in field boundary system on 1905 and 1935 OS 6-inch maps. Field fence levelled; circular area (32m E-W) raised c. 0.4m above surrounding field level. Bivallate enclosure visible as cropmark of fosses in aerial photograph (CASAP, July 1989), with possible causewayed entrance to E; S half of levelled inner bank visible as spread of light-coloured soil. Semicircular annexe, visible as cropmark of fosse, adjoins outer fosse of ringfort to ENE (ibid.); may be earlier ditched enclosure with SW half destroyed by ringfort. Similar ditched enclosures (CO035-01302-; CO035-01303-; CO035-01304-; CO035-01305-) in same field to SSE.
