The National Monuments Service's description
Road bridge (Wth c. 3.2m; long axis NE-SW), built at slight angle over Awbeg River. Random-rubble construction. Six semicircular arches (span c. 3.5m) with rough voussoirs; off-centre E arch replaced by cement. Widened on upstream side (NW) by c. 4m with similar but straight-sided arches; roughly dressed voussoirs; low pointed cutwaters. Bridge possibly of 17th-century date; bridge indicated here on Down Survey (1655-6) barony map. Bridgetown Abbey (14381) c. 700m to S.
