In Killavullen. Rectangular church (long axis NE-SW) with sacristy added to SW gable. NE entrance front of random-rubble sandstone, rest of walls rendered. Five round-headed windows in each side wall light interior. Entrance front has 1-bay breakfront containing central rectangular door ope under tall round-headed window; overhead is stone inscribed with date '1839'; breakfront topped with bellcote. Smaller doors, under blind window opes, on either side of breakfront. Interior has gallery at NE end; classical reredos behind altar at SW end. 'Old R.C. Chapel' (no longer survives) indicated on 1842 OS on Ross street c. 150m to E. Lewis (1837, vol. 2, 384) noted 'a small plain building about to be rebuilt on a site given by Jas. Hennessy, Esq.'. Church refurbished in mid 1990's and gallery replaced.
