The National Monuments Service's description

Built against natural slope on E side of road. Random-rubble sandstone walls encase earthen core. Front elevation (H c. 5m) faces NW; lintelled corbelled recess inaccessible due to dumped material, rear of recess collapsed. Rear inaccessible due to overgrowth.
