The National Monuments Service's description

House shown on Down Survey (1655-6) barony map in Croganelare townland. Exact location not known but probably in vicinity of Curraghanearla House indicated on 1842 OS 6-inch map; indicated on 1905 and 1935 OS 6-inch map as Sunnyside, a 5-bay 2-storey house built in 1862 (Grove White 1905-25, vol. 4, 237).
