The National Monuments Service's description
Gogan (1929a, 4) recorded 'a two chambered souterrain in a field beside Carrig railway gates, about two miles east of Mallow; beehive chambers connected by a low passage, no external associated remains (communicated by R.M. Evans, Carker, Doneraile)'. Exact location not known.
