The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture. Roughly circular area (diam. c. 30m) enclosed by low earthen bank (int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.4m) S->N; linear earthen stone-faced field boundary to NE; earthen stone-faced field boundary to SE, which curves and most likely incorporates original earthen bank. Bank and interior planted with mature coniferous trees. Locally known as fairy fort.
