The National Monuments Service's description

In centre of graveyard. Roofless overgrown former parish church of Rahan. Rectangular nave (long axis E-W) of random-rubble limestone construction. Three triple-lancet windows in S wall; brick-arched blind window in external N wall. Chimney stack atop centre of N wall. Overgrown tower to W: four centred arched door ope in W wall with limestone surround. All opes blocked. Access to interior not gained but some wall plaques evident on internal walls. Built in 1792 (Brady 1863, vol. 2., 368-369). Surrounding rectangular graveyard (c. 40m N-S; c. 50m E-W) (CO033-049001-) overgrown and no longer used; earliest headstones noted date from early 19th century.
