The National Monuments Service's description
In tillage, near top of hill on S-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1842, 1905 and 1935 OS 6-inch maps. Circular enclosure (34m N-S) defined by scarp (max. H 1.4m) to SE, SW and N; earthen bank (int. H 1m; ext. H 1.2m) to NW; both heavily overgrown with nettles and briars. Bank levelled NNE-> E where field boundary once ran outside bank. Interior slopes gently down to S, raised to S to compensate for hillslope; possible souterrain (CO033-108---) in NW quadrant.
