The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on gentle NE-facing slope, commanding extensive view N across Blackwater River valley. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; no visible surface trace; field locally known as fort field. One of two levelled single-ramparted ringforts (CO032-08802-) recorded by Bowman (1934, 586) on J. D. Ryan's land.
