The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope, above Finnow Stream. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on 1842, 1905 and 1936 OS 6-inch maps. Levelled; arc formed by earthen bank survives on N side, incorporated into field fence system to NNW. Fosse survives as slight depression visible E->SSW. Interior (diam. c. 27.2m N-S) raised on NE side by c. 0.95m. Recorded by Bowman (1934, 18) as single-ramparted fort (diam. c. 30yd) on T. Ludgate's land, with bank c. 5ft H and interior c. 2ft higher than outside field level. Possible souterrain (CO032-215---) in interior.
