The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, to NW of road. Random-rubble walls encase earthen core. Overgrown front elevation (H c. 3.5m) faces SE; stone-arched recess, sloping slabs at rear with stoking hole, lintelled ope at base. Brick-lined funnel. Earthen ramp to rear.
