The National Monuments Service's description
South-of-centre in graveyard (14576). Ruinous rectangular church (int. 25m E-W; int. 7.78m N-S), built of sandstone rubble; densely overgrown. East gable missing. South wall (H c. 3m) has wall press at E end; window with single ogee-headed light, in splayed embrasure under segmental arch, towards E end; ruinous doorway (Wth 1.45m) W of centre, embrasure covered by segmental arch. North wall (H c. 3m) featureless apart from narrow gap (Wth 0.5m) towards W end, possibly location of second window mentioned by Windele (Bowman 1934, 346), although he locates it on S wall. West gable (H c. 6m) appears featureless, though densely overgrown. Remains of parish church of Dromtarriff, said to have been burnt by Lord Broghill's troops in 1652 (Lewis 1837, vol. 1, 509). A church here listed in Papal Taxation of 1291 (Hickson 1891, 46).
