The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on NNE-facing slope. Depicted as hachured roughly oval enclosure (c. 30m NNE-SSW; c. 22m NW-SE) on 1842 OS 6-inch map, with E bank incorporated into field fence system. Levelled; arc formed by earthen field boundary (int. H 1.2m) NE->SSE, may incorporate original bank. To NNE, scarp may mark edge of enclosure on this side. Recorded by Bowman (1934, 295) as levelled single-ramparted fort (diam. c. 33yd) on A. O'Riordan's land; with possible souterrain (CO030-244---).
