The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on N-facing slope. Circular area (24m E-W) defined by earthen bank (int. H 1m; ext. H 1.6m) to E; low rise elsewhere. Remaining bank incorporated into field fence system and skirted by farm laneway. According to local information, fort levelled early 1950s. Recorded by Broker (1937, 51) as double-ramparted fort on Michael Bradley's land with inner bank surviving all round and outer bank only remaining 'in part'. 'It is said that unbaptised children were buried here' (Bowman 1934, 294). Souterrain (CO030-11502-) in interior.
