The National Monuments Service's description

In marshy ground. Discovered during digging of drain which runs NW-SE through site. Burnt material (D 0.8m) visible in section on both sides of drain. Portion of base and E side of wooden trough exposed (measurements of exposed portion: base L 0.23m; Wth 0.28m; side Wth 0.1m).
