The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on crest of E-W ridge on gentle N-facing slope. No visible surface trace; according to local information, faint circular feature visible in field when grass is low. Recorded by Broker (1937, 51) as levelled fort in Gate field, 'only 20 yards from one of standing forts'. Three ringforts (CO030-087---, CO030-088---, CO030-090---) lie c. 150m to S, c. 100m to W and c. 50m to SSE respectively.
