The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on gentle W-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; circular area (36m E-W; 32m N-S) enclosed by low rise all round; shallow external fosse to N, E and SW. Second low rise to N and E may be evidence for outer bank. One of three levelled single-ramparted forts (CO030-070---; CO030-071---) on Miss Victoria Allen's land recorded by Bowman (1934, 277). Also recorded by Broker (1937, 51) as fort in 'Pairc Cait...levelled in Philpott's time, about 1870'.
