The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on gentle SW-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 45m) on 1842, 1904 and 1938 OS 6-inch maps; external fosse hachured S->NW and NE->SE on 1938 OS 6-inch map. Levelled in 1966 (UCC); no visible surface trace of site. According to local information, 'two rings' surrounded fort. Circular enclosure visible as soilmark of bank with possible entrance to N and remains of second inner bank to E (GSIAP, W400). Recorded by Bowman (1934, 267) as double-ramparted fort (diam. c. 35yd) on D. O' Leary's land with half the circuit of the inner rampart levelled, remaining portion c. 3ft H; intervening fosse (Wth 36ft); outer rampart 6-8ft H and outer fosse 4ft D; entrance to S. Also recorded by Broker (1937, 53) as 'Lios na Duinne'. Possible souterrain (13423, Part 2) on N side of interior.
