The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on S-facing slope, commanding extensive views to E, S and SW. Circular area (38.5m N-S; 38.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.1m; ext. H 1.8m); intervening fosse (D 0.4m) S->E; outer earthen bank (H 1.5m) S->E; external fosse (D 0.2m) to N. Break through both banks to E (Wth 4m) and to NW (Wth 4m), joined by rough trackway across interior. Interior raised and grass covered. According to Broker (1937, 52), 'quarter of it knocked about 1928'.
