The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope, c. 200m W of Owentaraglin River. Circular raised area (47m E-W; 45m N-S) enclosed by inner earthen bank (int. H 2m; ext. H 3.3m); intervening fosse; outer earthen bank (H 1.5m) SE->SW. Inner bank planted with young coniferous trees to NW and S->SW; cattle gap to N and SW; causewayed entrance (Wth 4m) through both banks to SSE. Intervening fosse (D 1.6m; Wth 7m) overgrown to E and S; used as farm trackway to N and NW. Outer bank planted with coniferous trees SSE->SW; broken to WSW where trackway exits. Interior grass-covered; souterrain (CO029-01402-) at S side.
