The National Monuments Service's description
Gillman (1896, 422), quoting from a letter from Mr Newenham to Crofton Croker, recorded a souterrain on the lands of Ballyhendon [sic], 'precisely similar in formation to those examined near Carrigtwohill' (5053, Garranes). McCarthy (1977, 162, 417) included plan (after Croker) showing four roughly circular chambers in an L-shape joined by creepways. Exact location not known.
