The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on break in W-facing slope, overlooking River Funshion. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 22m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map, N half incorporated into field fence system. Levelled; arc (C 16m) formed by earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1m) survives WNW->NE; stone faced externally to N. External height of bank increases to c. 1.8m to WNW where land slopes down from site. Small shed built up against outer face of bank to N, with larger shed to NE.
