The National Monuments Service's description
In tillage, on level ground to W of farmyard of Woodfort House. Circular area (28m E-W; 27m N-S) enclosed by low earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.6m) ESE->NNE. Break in bank NNE->NE; debris dumped on line of bank NE->ESE. Interior appears to be slightly below exterior ground level. Interior planted on 1842 and 1906 OS 6-inch maps; some trees still remain on bank.
