The National Monuments Service's description
In Annesgrove Demesne. According to Smith (1750, vol. 1, 336-7), near 'the seat of Robert Grove, esq..., as they were digging the foundations of a barn, several gigantic human bones, and, in particular, a great skull, were discovered; but...they were...not preserved.' Exact location not known.
