The National Monuments Service's description
Built in shallow depression against natural slope. Crumbling random-rubble walls retain earthen core. Front elevation (H c. 3.5m) with arched stone recess, inaccessible due to dumped material. Depression on top of kiln indicates position of infilled funnel. Ramp to rear.
