The National Monuments Service's description
An E-W orientated fosse of unknown date along with 'two small confined features' were discovered during archaeological testing in advance of the construction of a single house c. 170m to the NNE of the site of an unclassified castle (CO024-151002-). It was recommended that these features be preserved in situ. (Richardson 2007, 494)
