The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on gentle W-facing slope. Circular area enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.85m) S->WSW; scarp WSW->NW; earthen bank continuing round to E and S. To SSE, instead of finishing line of circle, this bank continues outside inner arc of bank truncated to SW by N-S field fence bordering roadway. Intervening shallow fosse between inner and outer banks SSE->SW, truncated by roadway to W; fosse continues NW->SW as outer fosse, partially infilled to N and E, shallow to S. Numerous cattle breaks in bank. Appears to be remains of bivallate enclosure with only slight remains of inner bank and outer bank truncated on W side by boundary. Possible souterrain (CO024-201---) associated with site.
