The National Monuments Service's description

On shoulder of SE-facing slope, site is very overgrown. Comprises subcircular area (diam. c. 12m), on perimeter of which are two opposing stones and two smaller stones. North stone is 0.8m L, 0.6m T and 1.1m H. South stone is 0.7m L, 0.5m T and 1m H. Third stone, almost prostrate, is 1.3m to E of S upright; it is 1.25m L, 0.4m T and, if erect, 1.4m H. Fourth stone, very small, is 0.35m to E of N stone; it is 0.45m L, 0.3m T and 0.4m H. Various other perimeter orthostats and prostrate slabs visible on site in early 1970s now piled into interior. Exact nature of site uncertain, possibly related to that at Cuppage (9829) and Gortnahown (11807). (Ó Nualláin 1984a, 46)
