The National Monuments Service's description
In level pasture, on edge of SW-facing slope. Depicted as irregular area planted with trees on 1842 OS 6-inch map; hachured as circular area enclosed by fosse on 1905 amd 1937 OS 6-inch maps, respected by field boundary SSE->NE. According to local information, levelled c. 1977; low rise in parts, in area of site, may mark line of levelled bank.
