In undulating pasture. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) on 1842 and 1905 OS 6-inch maps; external fosse shown SE->W on 1905 OS 6-inch map; on 1937 OS 6-inch map hachured arc of N bank and external fosse remains, incorporated into field boundary system. Circular area (35m E-W; 34m N-S) defined by earthen bank (int. H 1.3m; ext. H 1.5m) NW->NE; scarp (H c. 40m) NE->W. Top of scarp slopes very gently down towards centre of interior.
