In level pasture, with land rising gently to NW. Circular area (38m N-S; 35m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 1.2m; ext. H 1.85m); external fosse (D 1.4m). Entrance (Wth 3m) to S. Fosse wider and shallower S->NE where skirted by earthen field boundary.
