The National Monuments Service's description
Overgrown, abandoned 2-storey house, early 19th-century in appearance. Walls rendered over random-rubble sandstone construction. Entrance front (SE) of 3 bays: central round-headed door ope with panelled door and fanlight; Wyatt windows on ground floor, rectangular sash. Gable-ended with chimney stacks atop gables; window in ground and 1st floor of SW elevation; 1-storey bathroom addition onto NE elevation. Central round-headed stairway window on rear elevation; 1-storey gabled kitchen addition on SW side. Central hallway with stairs to rear; large room on either side with fireplaces; very narrow rooms to rear. Two-storey farm buildings in yard to rear with brick bellcote atop gable. Limestone entrance piers; abandoned 1-storey lodge adjacent.
