The National Monuments Service's description
Road bridge (Wth 5.45m; long axis NE-SW) over Awbeg River, in view of, and to SE of, Assolas House (14846); ornate fish pond immediately NW of bridge. Two segmental arches (span c. 0.75m) with roughly dressed voussoirs. Vertical stone coping atop parapet wall; plaque in wall reads "This bridge was erected by Henry Wrixon of Assolas Esq. in the year 1781 Executed by Rich - Stack Mason". Pedestrian access to SW bank of river via gate in NW parapet. Down Survey (1655-6) barony map shows a bridge in this vicinity.
