The National Monuments Service's description
Bowman (1935, 404) recorded three standing stones incorporated into field fence on D. O'Donovan's land. This, the most westerly, stood '3ft 5in high' (ibid.); second stone (9910) c. 30m further E; third standing stone (9911) c. 1m to E of second. Exact location not known.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
