The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on level ground, atop low rise. Circular area (35m E-W; 34m N-S) enclosed by heavily overgrown earthen bank (int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1m); shallow external fosse (D 0.2m). Break in bank to S (Wth 5m) with entrance gate to interior; second break to NW, overgrown. Fosse used as laneway at E side. Interior planted with potatoes. Overlooked by Lisduggan ringfort (CO023-163---), which lies c. 200m to N.
