The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on W-facing slope. Circular area (33m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.8m; ext. H 1.5m); external fosse (D 0.8m) NW->SSE. Bank planted with coniferous trees; break in bank to SSE (Wth 3.4m) and NW (Wth 3.5m); NW break flanked by gate piers. Interior used as rubbage dump; large elongated mound of rubble dumped N-S across centre; shed built against inner face of W bank. Circular enclosure (CO023-306---) c. 30m to SE.
