The National Monuments Service's description
Depicted as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) on 1842 OS 6-inch map. In pasture, on N-facing slope. Levelled; roughly rectangular area defined by earthen field boundary (int. H 0.55m; ext. H 0.75m) at W corner and NW side (L 29.8m), slight rise elsewhere (max. H 0.2m). Recorded by Bowman (1934, 413) as rectangular fort (43yd by 25yd) on Mr Clifford's land; 'all of the western rampart, and 10 yards of the North and South ramparts now stand.' Ringfort (12309) c. 100m to S.
