The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on gentle SSE-facing slope. Depicted as hachured circular enclosure on 1842 OS 6-inch map. Levelled; no visible surface trace. Possibly one of two forts mentioned by Bowman (1934, 431) on land of Joseph Nunan; both single ramparted, measuring 39 yards and 27 yards.
