The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on a gentle S-facing slope and c. 30m W of a stream. A low horseshoe-shaped mound (11m E-W; 10m N-S; max. H c. 0.75m) of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil with the opening (Wth 4m) facing N.
