The National Monuments Service's description
Bowman (1934, 179) recorded holy well in J. Murphy's farm, 'situated in the trunk of a tree. Measurements, 7in by 4in by 6in deep. Rounds are paid during the year. The usual votive offerings are tied to nails driven into the tree.' Exact location not known.
