Roughly circular, saucer-shaped area (c. 39.5m N-S; c. 34.5m E-W) enclosed by low rise (H 0.4m); shallow depression to W indicates remains of external fosse. According to local information, levelled c. 1970. Bowman (1934, 491) recorded fort on H. O'Connor's land, as single-ramparted (bank c. 7ft H; diam. 43yd), with interior c. 4ft higher than level of surrounding field. One of a group of five ringforts (CO022-14703-; CO022-151---; CO022-153---; CO022-155---) in five adjoining fields.
